Plastic Teller Rosette Ring Packing

category:Plastic Packing

modelnum:无

size:无

Plastic rosette packing was first developed by A.J.Teller of the United States in 1954. It is called Teller Rosette in China. This ellipsoid-shaped packing is composed of many circles and a large flat sphere composed of 12 small circles arranged radially, which is very similar to a sphere formed by connecting the ends of a spiral spring. Some small circles are in the shape of an A; some have teeth on the edges of small and large circles; some have no large circles on the periphery, only small circles inside.

Yida Chemical Rosette Packing is made of metal sheets punched and stretched into a specific calendered mesh, with regular diamond mesh on the surface, and the geometric regular structure of wire mesh corrugated packing is punched into corrugated sheets, and then formed into disc-shaped corrugated regular packing. The mass transfer law of mesh corrugated packing is close to that of wire mesh corrugated packing, and the theoretical number of plates per meter of packing is higher than that of perforated plate corrugated packing. Since the mesh plate can be processed with various metal materials, the material selection surface is wider than that of wire mesh packing, so it has good corrosion resistance. There are two types of rosette packing: plastic rosette packing and metal rosette packing. Among them, plastic rosette packing appeared earlier and is mostly used in gas washing and purification towers. It has now become a series of products. Users can choose different materials such as polypropylene (PP), RPP (glass reinforced polypropylene), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and other plastic rosette packing according to the use conditions in the tower (such as temperature, pressure, medium, etc.).

Characteristics of plastic rosette packing:

Because the gaps of the packing can have a higher liquid holding capacity, and because the gaps of this packing can have a higher amount of stagnant liquid, the liquid in the tower can stay for a longer time, thereby increasing the contact time between gas and liquid and improving the mass transfer efficiency of the packing. The main characteristics of plastic rosette packing are: low pressure drop, large void ratio, not easy to be blocked, large flux, small resistance, and high mass transfer efficiency. And the gaps can have a higher amount of stagnant liquid, which can make the liquid in the tower stay for a longer time, thereby increasing the contact time between gas and liquid and significantly improving efficiency.
